The Highlights of Charleston two hour group tour is the ideal primer for first-time visitors, and an enriching experience for anyone that wants to dig deeper into the stories of Charleston’s unique development and culture. The tour spans 300 years of history in the low country and the licensed guides explain the city’s architecture, geography, economic life, and social strata with humor and honesty.
Highlights of Charleston group tours meet at the Customs House at 200 East Bay Street. Cost is $20 per person and group tours run multiple times per day - generally 9 AM, 11:30 AM, and 3 PM.

From Hwy 17 N ‐ From the Arthur Ravenel, Jr. Bridge, take the Meeting Street ramp to Visitor Center/N Charleston/I-26W/Columbia. Turn left onto Meeting Street and continue on Meeting Street to Calhoun Street. At the light, turn right onto Calhoun Street. At the next light, turn left onto King Street and continue for about two-tenths of a mile. The Quarters on Vendue will be on your left.
From I-26 ‐ Take exit 221B on the left for Meeting Street, making a right turn onto Meeting Street and continuing on to Calhoun Street. At the light, turn right onto Calhoun Street. At the next light, turn left onto King Street and continue for about two-tenths of a mile. The Quarters on Vendue will be on your left.
From Hwy 17S ‐ As you approach and cross the Ashley River, ease into the right lane and take the Lockwood Drive exit off the bridge. Keep right at the fork and follow the signs for Lockwood Drive South, merging onto Lockwood Drive. At the light, turn left onto Calhoun Street and continue for approximately 1.5 miles. Turn right onto King Street and continue for about two-tenths of a mile. The Quarters on Vendue will be on your left.

During Your Stay
Please note, all rooms are located on the 2nd or 3rd floor of the building. The building is not suited with an elevator and rooms are accessible by stairs only.
The Quarters on Vendue does not offer parking but a City of Charleston parking garage is directly behind the property. Parking is $20 a day with no in and out privleges. The location make sit ideal to park the car and explore the city on foot.
RESERVATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS
To guarantee your reservation we take one night room and tax as a deposit which is fully refundable up to seven (7) days prior to your arrival. We will make every effort to grant specific room requests; however, we cannot guarantee any room number or location.
This is a pet-free facility. Evidence of either will result in an additional fee.

Trash receptacles can be found next to our front office at 93 Society St. Trash bags are also picked up in hallways before 10 AM.
We’ve done our best to control the acoustics in rooms and common areas, but we are counting on guest’s participation as well! Please keep noise to a minimum between the hours of 10 PM and 10 AM.
We know technology can be frustrating. If you are unable to get the TV or another device working, please call the front desk and do not attempt to unplug or fix yourself.
The Quarters on Vendue is committed to preserving our environment. Please help our staff reduce waste by being mindful of towels, paper goods, and cleaning supplies used. We provide what we feel is a suitable amount of towels, paper goods, and supplies for a typical 2-3 night stay. If you are enjoying an extended stay with us or if you have additional needs, please do not hesitate to contact us and we’ll be happy to provide additional supplies. Daily turn-down service or a complete cleaning is available for an additional fee. Please inquiry with the front desk. We require 24 hours’ notice to schedule cleaning.
